Thomas
McMeekin Boyd
was
born on 30th March 1922 of The Manse, Ahoghill, Co. Antrim. He was of Presbyterian faith.
On
15th April 1941 he joined Northern Bank at Head Office. Transfers followed to Whitehead
(1941), Head Office (1942) and Ball’s Branch (1942).
On 26th September 1942, Boyd
resigned from the Bank when he was ‘Called up’ into the RAF.
He rejoined the Northern Bank from Active
Service on 21st October 1946 at Head Office.
Boyd resigned in 1947 and took up employment with an
Airline Company.
